Adv. Anna Blau is a partner at the law firm of Salomon LipschÜtz & Co. and head of the Labor Law Department, jointly with Adv. Hadar Aharon-Moallem.

Anna has experience, expertise, and thorough understanding of labor law. She provides consultation to leading Israeli clients and frequently advises them on multiple relevant issues. Anna has extensive experience in consulting businesspersons, entrepreneurs, and senior managers in their daily business activities, and in processes of setup and growth, organizational changes, M&A transactions, joint venture agreements, consulting and commission agreements.

Anna started her career as a legal advisor of a group of communication and ecommerce-related private hi-tech companies, filled out a variety of senior managing positions, inter alia as an acting CEO, board member and director in that group of companies, which all have R&D, sales and service departments at national distribution.

For more than a decade and a half Anna has been living and breathing the daily challenges of company managers and employers. She specializes in planning and applying complex benefit plans and wage issues, provident plans, and pension insurance plans. She does so while implementing a legal methodology for streamlining organizational employment and wage processes, option plans, and performance-based benefit structures, for avoiding exposures, thriving, and managing risks. It all involves providing tools and correct reading of the map, for the purpose of making business and management decisions, to promote the goals of the organization and its managers, support the organization’s position holders, and understand its unique needs and challenges in a personalized way.

Anna has a unique expertise in representing employers, organizations, and CEOs in processes of audit, investigation, and enforcement, of the Ministry of Labor’s enforcement management, and the Population and Immigration Authority’s foreign workers administration. Her resume contains unprecedented successes and results in cancelling and reducing financial sanctions and administrative fines.

Anna’s reputation precedes her in representing employers vis-à-vis the Ministry of Economy Industry and Trade’s labor branch and enforcement division, in processes of inspection and investigation under the law to increase enforcement of labor laws, for cancelling and reducing financial sanctions. She also represents her clients in Financial Sanctions Appeal Committee, appeals in labor courts, etc. Anna lectures alongside Ministry of Labor reps at conferences and training courses for CPAs, tax advisors, payroll accountants, payroll examiners and HR, on issues of preparation of the business and its position holders to cope with audits and investigations of the said Enforcement Administration.

Anna has the ability and tools to implement organizational changes and connect all the parties relevant to the client’s current activity, in compliance with its objectives. It involves providing consultation to HR managers, legal advisors, CEOs, VPs, CPAs, wage accountants and wage examiners. She renders advice for the application of internal compliance and enforcement plans, including a unique program she has developed jointly with Adv. Hadar Aharon-Moallem.

In addition to being a lawyer, Anna has been certified as a wage examiner and holds a Ministry of Labor’s license. She is known for her ability to find creative solutions out of business thinking, accounting understanding and extraordinary interpersonal communication. All, in combination with the strategy she has developed, strive to achieve zero sanctions and labor disputes, emphasize prevention processes, save in employment costs, and in legal costs for her clients.

Anna is a sought-after lecturer in professional forums, a member of labor-law professional forums, and is often interviewed by the written press and leading television channels. In times of national crises and emergencies, she volunteers in providing training and advice to small employers as part of voluntary projects with Bank Hapoalim, Isracard, and local authorities.

Anna has joined the law firm of Salomon LipschÜtz & Co. in 2024 as part of the merger of our firm with the quality boutique law firm of Blau, Aharon-Moallem & Co.
