Adv. Shani Ben Shetrit is a member of the Labor Law Department, the law firm of Salomon LipschÜtz & Co.

Shani specializes in labor law and commercial law, and has extensive experience in providing representation, consultation, and advice to both local and international corporations.

Shani legal advice includes multiple labor law-related issues including recruitment of employees, negotiations on employment terms, drawing up employment agreements, prevention of sexual harassment, NDAs and non-competition agreements, and termination of employment.

Shani provides representation in courts and other instances, in processes of mediation and arbitration, conducting negotiations, and finding creative solutions for settling disputes.

Shani has the knowledge and experience in consulting growing companies and startup and hi-tech companies, including drawing custom-made corporation agreements, incentive/option programs, legal opinions, and due diligence during mergers and acquisitions. Shani also renders ongoing legal consultation to large employers in the economy to arrange the status of expert foreign workers within national projects in Israel.

Currently, Shani conducts innovative research on AI legislation applications, as part of a preliminary research for her PhD in Haifa University.

Shani’s articles have been published in leading and rated periodicals, and she is a guest lecturer in both Tel Aviv University and Haifa University.

Shani holds a “Mediator” certificate by the “Amot Gishur” Center, completed as part of her MA degree. She is also a member of the “Hareshet” assistance program within the “Wall Breaker” Society for victims of the “Iron Swords” War (relating to labor law), a member of the “Schar Mitzva” program of the Israeli Bar Association, a member of the Legal Forum of the Women’s Lobby and the Israeli Association for Labor Law.
